Euroquartz to exhibit at Embedded Design Show 2014

Designed for use in embedded applications, crystals and oscillators manufactured by Euroquartz are being exhibited at the Embedded Design Show. The products, which provide frequency control, will be shown from the 22nd to the 23rd of October 2014, in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, UK.

To provide frequency control for embedded systems, crystals and oscillators are required to consume a low current and provide custom supply voltages within a small footprint package. The crystals and oscillators in which Euroquartz will exhibit at the show meet these requirements. With a frequency output of 20.0MHz, the XO22 clock oscillator provides a maximum current consumption of 4mA with supply voltages specified from 1.0V.

The XOA32 series of low frequency oscillators, which feature AT-cut crystals for high stability, provide a frequency output of 32.768kHz within a 3.2x2.5mm package. Over an operating temperature range of -10 to +70°C (commercial) or -40 to +85°C (industrial), the surface mount oscillators provide a frequency stability of ±25, ±50 or ±100ppm.

Measuring 2x1.2x0.6mm, the EQ212 surface mount crystals provide a frequency output of 32.768kHz. Due to the crystals small size and ruggedness, they are suitable for use in battery-powered and hand-held equipment as well as embedded applications.

The EMS22S series of temperature compensated crystal oscillators, which provide a frequency output from 13-52MHz, are available in a 2.5x2.0x0.8mm package. Offering temperature stability from ±0.5ppm over a temperature range of -20 to +70°C, the crystal oscillators provide a 1.8, 2.5 or 3.0V supply voltage. The oscillators are suitable for use in embedded applications and portable electronics such as GPS and handsets.

Featuring high shock and vibration resistance, the X21 series of crystals measure 2.1x1.6x0.6mm and provide frequency outputs from 20-54MHz. The X32 series of crystals, which are offered in a 3.2x2.5x0.7mm SMD package, provides frequency outputs from 12-60MHz with extremely low ageing. Providing frequency outputs of 312kHz to 160MHz, the XO32 series of crystal oscillators offers a wide range of supply voltages of 1.0-5.0V and are available in a 3.2x2.5x1.0mm package.
