Digi-Key Electronics will be exhibiting and presenting at the 2016 Engineering Design Show (EDS) at Ricoh Arena, Coventry (October 19-20). The company’s booth is located at stand J18. Digi-Key’s VP of Applications Engineering, Randall Restle, will be presenting a workshop during the event titled “Enabling Internet-Based Motion Control” from 10:15-10:55 am both days.

“I’m excited to present techniques that can be implemented in a variety of non-proprietary electronics with the effect of reducing communication bandwidth between motion controllers and their hosts while also improving servo, and consequently machine, performance,” said Restle. “After the presentations I will be at the Digi-Key booth to further engage with visitors if they have any other thoughts or questions.”

In addition, the booth’s activities include live demos of Digi-Key’s EDA tool portfolio and projects featuring some of their supplier partners.

“We encourage attendees to stop by our booth and chat with us about our EDA tools and other ways Digi-Key can assist in their design processes,” said Ian Wallace, Sales Director, UK & Ireland. “We believe the demos being presented at our stand will really generate interest among the engineers attending the show.”
