Held in conjunction with electronica 2014, the second embedded platforms conference will be held in Munich on November 12 and 13. Manfacturers and independent experts will give an overview of the ecosystems of modern embedded platforms. Topics are able to submitted until March 14, 2014, with hardware and software experts able to also participate by giving lectures.

When first held in conjunction with electronica in 2012, the first embedded platforms conference had more than 215 participants from 17 countries. The second conference will present new technologies, concrete solutions and useful services for developing embedded systems. Whilst also an excellent opportunity to meet others in the industry, the latest developments will also be on display in the exhibition halls of electronica next door.

The organisers are looking for contributing experts, and those interested can submit lectures that deal with the following topics: cores and peripherals, 8-/16-bit controllers, 32-bit processors, DSP platforms, FPGAs, multicore chips, SoC approaches, security and safety, saving energy, testing,  debugging, trace as well as porting and migration, RTOS and other OSs, initializing and booting, standardization, tool chains and ecosystems, obsolescence, simulation, emulation and modeling platforms.

Details regarding the desired length of the content in the abstracts and additional information about the embedded platforms conference are available on the electronica website.
