At the Infineon stand (A5.506), visitors can expect to see a raft of live demos, exhibits and 'product to system' innovations which add value to application designs. Company CEO, Dr. Reinhard Ploss, will discuss the IoT at the CEO round table and other speakers from the company have slots at the Embedded Platform Conference, Automotive Conference and Embedded Forum.

Infineon will demonstrate industry-specific solutions targeting industrial & building automation, home appliances, automotive and commercial, construction and agricultural vehicle applications.

Industrial automation demonstrations show how Infineon's high-quality, industrial-grade semiconductors translate into simple, efficient and reliable automation design - especially when combined with reference designs. Product highlights include ISOFACE switches and embedded security solutions such as OPTIGA Trust and OPTIGA TPM which protect applications against attacks and counterfeits. Infineon's industrial automation highlights reduce cost and complexity in increasingly networked, complex environments where reliability is the top priority as Industry 4.0 becomes reality.

There will also be demos of intelligent solutions for building lighting and motor control, which accelerate and simplify customer design cycles. For example, the low-cost XMC1000 MCU enables flicker-free LED lighting.

Infineon's OptiMOS low-voltage power MOSFETs, EiceDRIVER compact gate drivers, XMC MCUs and magnetic sensors offer energy gains to household appliances -  from washing machines to battery-operated power tools.

Automotive product highlights include the power PROFET devices which can save you up to €20 on system costs while extending reliable service life to as much as 1m switching cycles. The 32-bit AURIX MCU family with embedded hardware security module, which improves car security, will also be exhibited.

Infineon's semiconductor innovations for the automotive industry also meet rising market demands for robust performance over a wide temperature range and long service life in commercial, construction and agricultural vehicles. The rich protective and diagnostic functionality of the  PROFET +24V high-side switches and real-time Ethernet capabilities of the 32-bit AURIX MCUs will also be demonstrated.
