The new FLS980 Series III Flying Probe System will be showcased by Acculogic at this year's Productronica. The FLS980 Series III Flying Probe System will be making its European debut in Hall A1, Stand 465 at the Productronica International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place November 12 - 15, 2013 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre.

The Flying Scorpion FLS980 Series III offers higher accuracy and faster probing speeds than previous models. The new model features enhanced Boundary Scan, digital testing and device programming. Additional features include a heavy duty conveyor system to handle large and heavy boards, and high bandwidth HPM850 probe modules for functional testing (up-to 20 GHz). New features and enhancements to the system to be demonstrated during the show include:

  • New lower cost, high accuracy probe modules (BPM710)
  • New ThermoScan™ for thermal verification
  • New LaserScan™ for accurate positioning and warp compensation
  • New high resolution (1M/5M Pixel) camera system  (for positioning and AOI)
  • New QuickTest™ Software for fast program generation for NPI (New Product Introduction) applications

Also on display, Acculogic is now offering a translation package, consisting of program translation and a fixture adapter, to port Teradyne Z1800 test programs and fixtures to Acculogic’s In-Circuit SCORPION testers.

Additionally, company representatives will be performing Boundary Scan Test using Teradyne Di-Series Instruments and High-Speed Subsystem (HSSub). Using Acculogic’s ScanNavigator integrated boundary scan test environment, Acculogic offers a quick, easy and a cost effective way to perform boundary scan test using Teradyne’s Di-Series, which is a family of C-size VXI digital test instruments, with 64 (single-ended) or 32 (differential-pair) programmable channels per card, data rates up to 50 MHz and the flexibility, performance and ease-of-use to test all levels of integration from SRA/SRU to WRA/LRU. Additionally, Acculogic’s ScanNavigator integrated boundary scan test environment can be used with the Teradyne High-Speed Subsystem (HSSub) to carry out boundary scan test.
