GPEG International’s purpose built Panoramic Touch Monitor is the company’s latest product innovation and continues GPEG’s successful business model of creating bespoke displays solutions for companies in the UK and beyond.
Unlike other ‘Panoramic’ TFT displays which are ‘cut down’ from standard sizes to create a panoramic version, GPEG’s display is a purpose built unit with a diagonal size of 19 inches. This is equivalent to a 22 inch 1/3 cut down version. With a native resolution of 1680 x 342 the display features a contrast ratio of 2000:1 at a brightness of 300 cd/m2 from the long life (50k hours) LED backlight.

GPEG is conscious of the importance of the need to easily read this type of display and has designed the display to meet this requirement; with a wide viewing angle of 178 degrees L/R and U/D the display excels providing the user with benefit of excellent readability from virtually any angle.

Another key design feature is the fully integrated Projective Capacitive Touch screen with integral optically bonded cover glass. The PCT supports ten point multi finger touches with an 8 millisecond response time ensuring that the display is particularly suitable for skill based gaming applications. GPEG’s unique optically bonded fully customisable edge to edge cover glass provides designers with the opportunity to integrate the touch monitor into existing or brand new equipment designs.

The PCT is further enhanced with its anti glare chemically strengthened coating which meets the UL6095 ball drop test. This benefits the monitor when used in applications where ruggedness is a prime requirement.

GPEG’s Panoramic Touch Monitor is simple to interface with its dual inputs of VGA and DVI (HDID compliant), USB for the PCT and a single 12 volt 3.5 amp power supply.

With its versatile feature set GPEG’s touch monitor meets any demanding application requiring single-touch and multi-touch abilities these include; casino gaming, hospitality, industrial, interactive digital signage, healthcare, retail point of sale and in store self-service points.
