Samsung's Super PLS is a new wide viewing angle technology geared for information screen, industrial, medical and operating panel applications. In addition to the viewing angles Super PLS also offers fast response times a higher percentage of brightness compared to other IPS modules and vivid saturated colours with virtually no contrast shift.

Despite the large size this TFT is low in energy consumption and one of the main advantages of Super PLS developed by Samsung is the pixel structure. As a result, there is significantly improved translucence which leads to power savings up to 25%. The larger the panel the greater the saving.
