Featuring the DPC3090 processor and 128MB flash memory, intelligent touch displays have been released by demmel products. The DPP-T43, DPP-T57 and DPP-T70 LCD displays, which are part of the company's iLCD product line, are claimed to provide 50% faster execution times and transmission rates compared to preceding models.

With 400% more capacity, the 128MB flash memory can store all graphics, animations, fonts, text modules and macros used to design the displays. The DPP-T43 features a 4.3" display, the DPP-T57 a 5.7" and the DPP-T70 a 7". More than 250 easy-to-learn high-level commands to control the iLCDs conveniently via Ethernet, USB, RS232, I2C or SPI interfaces, are provided by the iLCD controller.

Software functionalities such as formatting text output, drawing static and animated graphics enable the user to create screen designs quickly and easily. Other functionalities include filling areas with predefined colour gradients or tiles, changing the transparency and arbitrary display areas or touch screen control. With these features, screen designs for any application requirement can be created. By eliminating the pixel-based programming required for conventional LCDs, the iLCD technology reduces development time and costs.

The Windows-based Integrated Development Environment iLCD Manager XE makes designing applications for touch screen iLCD panels easier. Due to features such as Parameter Completion and Syntax Checking/Highlighting, no programming skills are required to design state of the art graphical interfaces. Customisable sample and demo projects are available. The DPP-T43, DPP-T57 and DPP-T70 touch displays are fully compatible with preceding models and all iLCDs across the product line.
