Ginsbury has announced the addition of the Digital View DD-1920-Dual-DVI interface controller to its portfolio. Capable of supporting LVDS LCD panels up to 1920 x 1200 resolution, the DD-1920-Dual-DVI has been designed and developed for industrial LCD monitor applications and high reliability display systems.

Steve Varley, Product Manager at Ginsbury, comments: "The latest addition to the Digital View product range is intended for industrial and commercial display applications where the advanced image control functions of models such as the Digital View SVX-1920 type controllers are not required."

Featuring two DVI inputs with OSD or RS-232 serial selection, the Digital View DD-1920-Dual-DVI board  can drive LVDS LCD panels up to 1920 x 1200 resolution. With compact mechanical dimensions measuring just 107.4 mm x 73.6 mm x 1.2 mm, the new board also features two DVI-D connectors (which support 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, and 480p) and a 12V DC power input header. The DD-1920-Dual-DVI also features up to 3 x 8-bit colour, providing up to 16.7million colours.

The OSD or RS-232 serial selection enables the user to control the image characteristics: including brightness, contrast, sharpness, clock, phase, colour temperature, image position, and gamma. The image can also be scaled up or down to fit the input to the LCD panel format.

Allowing for two different build options, the DD-1920-Dual-DVI controller board is available with LED drivers for LED backlit LCD panels and an audio amplifier with volume control via the OSD or RS-232 serial commands.

Available immediately from Ginsbury, the DD-1920-Dual-DVI also comes with multi-panel support and the availability of custom engineering services.
