Digital Signage Specialist ONELAN offers its new versatile V5.1 software especially for media design houses and Net-Top-Box (NTB) Layout designers. To date, the company’s main markets are in UK, Ireland and The Netherlands. To enhance ONELAN’s capabilities in other European markets, the new software permits user interfaces in German, Italian and other languages.
Says David Dalzell, ONELAN’s managing director: “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to use our Digital Signage products.” The new software allows layouts to be sent by email, as easily as sending a jpg, where previously this wasn’t possible. NTBs now come with a wide selection of layouts as standard. Further Layout designs may be purchased through a media house or downloaded for free from ONELAN’s website.

Other features of the V5.1 software is that it is now possible to play a video with its own sound track substituted for the designer’s chosen music and news in DVB subtitles from Freeview material.
