KOE’s new TX31D200VM0BAA features HSXGA (1280 x 480) resolution, an 8 : 3 wide aspect ratio and IPS wide viewing angle technology. Excellent image performance is achieved with a contrast ratio of 1000 : 1 and a brightness of 1000 cd/m². The white LED backlight features an integrated driver circuit and a specified half-brightness lifetime of 70k hours. It is available from Data Modul.

The transmissive TFT features a single channel 20-pin LVDS data interface which supports 8-bit RGB and a colour palette of up to 16.7 M colours and mechanical outline dimensions of 320 mm x 130 mm x 12.1 mm and an active display area of 291.84 mm x 109.44 mm.

The specification of the Rugged+ display is designed to ensure consistent and guaranteed operation in harsh environments. All Rugged+ displays have robust mechanical and electrical characteristics that are highly resistant to shock, vibration and ESD. Support for extreme operation environments is enhanced with a storage temperature range of -40 °C to +90 °C and an operating temperature range of -30 °C to +80 °C.

For a range of applications where mechanical constraints place restrictions on the size and type of display used, the widescreen format of the TX31D200VM0BAA could provide an ideal display solution. The 8 : 3 aspect ratio enables niche applications to be considered where the display could be used in either landscape or portrait mode. Typical application include digital signage, retail based point-of-decision displays, consumer information systems, AV mixing desks and industrial instrumentation.
