Anglia Lighting has strengthened its support of Cree lighting class LEDs. It has added an extensive range of Zhaga styled, push wire connectors dedicated to Chip-on-Board (COB) LEDs, following the signing of a UK and Ireland distributor agreement with German manufacturer BJB, a leading manufacturer of LED and conventional lighting components.

Jeff Martin, Director of BJB UK, commented, “We’ve appointed Anglia Lighting specifically to handle the LED lighting parts of our range. We already have a strong association with Cree, and it made total sense to select a partner with the same affiliation. Anglia also has an extremely strong presence in the electronics industry, and has relationships with a new breed of LED lighting customers that our existing channels can’t reach. These relationships, and Anglia’s ability to offer our components as part of a complete solution, are a great base on which to build a very successful partnership.”

The BJB range supported by Anglia includes dedicated COB connectors to accommodate the full Cree CXA range. To further improve production processes of OEM customers, Anglia will also offer the well-established BJB P2F clip and board-to-board connector range, which are specifically designed to enable a rapid PCB assembly without tools. Together with interchangeable LED modules for spot/downlight applications, Anglia can now supply a wide range of BJB’s innovative LED lighting solutions.

Andrew Pockson, Divisional Marketing Manager at Anglia added, “BJB is one of the best known names in lighting and provide a range of support components for Cree LEDs that is of very high quality and easy to assemble. We are delighted to be able to offer our customers a complete LED lighting solution based on Cree and BJB.”
