LCD module copes with extreme conditions
Review Display Systems (RDS) has added to its LCD module portfolio with the 15.6in, WXGA, a-Si (amorphous- silicon) TFT LCD module from NLT Technologies. Outdoor applications will be the target for the NL13676BC25-03F which has a longer backlight lifetime of 70,000 hours to reduce power consumption without affecting brightness.
TFT displays with integral capacitive touchscreens
Suitable for industrial applications, GTK has announced TFT modules with integral capacitive touchscreens as a standard product. Available on TFTs with screen sizes of 3.5, 4.3 and 7.0”, the modules feature wide viewing angles, good contrast and brightness ratios and an operating temperature range from -20 to +70°C.

TFT display trio exhibit wide viewing angles
KOE Europe have announced three TFT display modules featuring KOE's UWVA (ultra-wide viewing angle) technology. The 7.0" TX18D45VM5BAA, 8.0" TX20D200VM5BAB and 10.4" TX26D200VM5BAA feature viewing angles of 80 degrees in all directions (up/down, left/right) and high brightness LED backlights. The 7.0" and 8.0" displays feature WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution while the 10.4" display has SVGA (800 x 600 pixels) resolution.
Next step in organic flexible AMOLED unveiled
Plastic Logic has shown the second in its series of all-plastic flexible AMOLED display demonstrators. Building on the first demonstrator, shown at the Flextech Conference in Phoenix, AZ in February, the new display features an increased brightness, 256 grey levels, and full 30fps image rendering.
