Whitepaper explores IP video network design basics

AMG has produced a free downloadable whitepaper that guides readers through the basics of IP video network design. Written expressly for those who have analogue CCTV knowledge and who want to understand the basics of IP video system design, the whitepaper takes into account the significant changes in technology that have taken place over the past 15 years. It looks specifically at:

  • How the different elements of an IP video system function;
  • How these differ from analogue CCTV;
  • How system design impacts network requirements; and
  • Which equipment can be utilised to ensure optimum performance, investment and future proofing.
