Percepio Demonstrates Next-Generation RTOS Trace Tools At Embedded World 2013

Percepio’s tool family Tracealyzer provide a world-leading insight into the runtime behavior of RTOS based embedded software. More than 20 graphical views show different perspectives of task scheduling and kernel calls, interrupt routines, as well as application-level event logs and data plots. The amazing visualizations are easy to use and intuitive to understand.

The views are also interconnected, which makes them easier to correlate. Tracealyzer gives a new level of understanding, which speeds up software development by faster troubleshooting and better designs. This also allows for finding new ways of optimizing the software for better performance. Tracealyzer can be used as a lab tool to complement a traditional debugger, but can also be used in deployed systems as a crash recorder.

Tracealyzer versions are available for FreeRTOS (FreeRTOS.org), OPENRTOS and SAFERTOS (Wittenstein High Integrity Systems), µC/OS-III (Micrium), On Time RTOS-32 (On Time Systems), VxWorks (Wind River Systems), RTXC Quadros (Quadros Systems) and soon also Linux. Percepio’s partner list grows quickly and includes the above mentioned vendors, but also Atmel, NXP and Segger.
