Powered by the 300MHz Vortex86SX DM&P CPU, the new, ultra low power ICOP-6157 from Datasound Laboratories features three LAN ports on a board measuring just 90mm x 96mm.
The ICOP-6157 also has two USB 2.0 ports, four Serial Ports (one configurable as RS232/422/485), LPT and 16 lines of general purpose I/O. In addition to the onboard 2MB SPI Flash, the unit also has an enhanced IDE port supporting both conventional and Flash Drives up to 4GB.

An XGI Volari Z9s chipset supports graphics resolution up to 1280 x 1024 and provides CRT and TFT/ LVDS options. The PC/104 interface caters for a wide range of plug in expansion opportunities.

Requiring only a single rail 5V DC supply at a 580mA the ICOP-6157 is targeted at traditional high end microcontroller applications while encouraging the use of familiar, low cost x86 development tools. To simplify application development, drivers are supplied for DOS. BSP’s are available for Linux, Windows CE 5.0 and Windows Embedded CE 6.0

Incorporating a programmable watchdog timer (30.5 to 512 seconds), the RoHS Compliant ICOP-6157 has a standard operational temperature range of -20°C to +70°C (optional -40°C to +85°C) and has a guaranteed 8 year availability.
