BVM has further expanded its range of embedded boards with the introduction of the LV-681 Mini-ITX motherboard. The high-level integration and comprehensive on-board capability of the LV-681 offers high performance, low-power-consumption solutions for embedded products, particularly suitable for thin clients, gaming, kiosk, point-of-sale, and other graphics-centric embedded applications.
The AMD S1 processor socket is compatible with AMD Turion 64x2 Dual-Core, AMD Turion 64, and Mobile AMD Sempron processors. The board also implements the ATI RS485M Chipset with the ATI Radeon X-300-based 2D/3D graphics engine that supports dual displays. Up to 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM is available via two SO-DIMM memory slots; there are 8 USB2.0 ports, 3 RS232C and 1 RS232/422/485 serial ports, 2 integral 10/100/1000 LAN ports, PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports and a CompactFlash slot.

One PCI expansion slot and 1 mini-PCI socket enable a direct interface for both standard and specialist industrial I/O cards and a watchdog timer provides system reset capability. On-board audio capability, 1 66/100/133 IDE interface and 2 serial SATA interfaces support RAID 0,1 with bandwidths up to 1.5GB/s complete the comprehensive portfolio of on-board capabilities.
