Green Hills' INTEGRITY RTOS supports Scalys' SoM range

Green Hills Software and Scalys have announced support for Green Hills Software’s INTEGRITY real-time operating system (RTOS) on the Scalys range of System-on-Modules (SoM). Users of Scalys SoMs can now rely on a trusted, safe RTOS that supports the highest levels of secure operation.

Scalys, based in the Netherlands, offers cost effective standard and semi-custom embedded system solutions for market segments including industrial, medical, telecommunications and aerospace, which require safety-critical operation. Scalys SoMs are small form factor computer boards that can easily be integrated into embedded applications. The SoM approach is an alternative to full custom engineering and is becoming increasingly appealing to developers who are keen to accelerate their projects.

The Scalys range features modules based around NXP (formerly Freescale) processors including i.MX 53, i.MX 6, and QorIQ T1, T2 and LS2 communication processors. Scalys will offer a board support package (BSP) with each SoM that includes support for the Green Hills INTEGRITY RTOS and MULTI IDE. This will enable developers to further reduce the time to market for their products whilst delivering a robust and proven hardware/software combination.
