AAEON is releasing a new series of scalable and power-optimized embedded products. COM-QM77 Rev.B, IMBA-Q77, EMB-QM77, TKS-G50-QM77, AEC-6877, GENE-QM77 and AEC-6637 will be based on the 3rd generation Intel Core processor family as well as the Mobile Intel QM77 Express and Intel Q77 Express chipsets.
These products are a balance of TDP, functions and affordability for customers valuing I/O intensive work with manageability and security.

The COM-QM77 Rev.B is a Type 6 COM Express CPU module with a 3rd generation Intel Core processor and mobile Intel QM77 Express chipset. The two SODIMM sockets support up to 16GB of DDR3 memory. Its storage requirements are easily met through its five SATA ports. The Intel 82579LM Gigabit Ethernet controller provides for quick networking applications in addition to the I/O interfaces of the Type 6 COM Express, including twelve USB ports, one PCIe[x16], seven PCIe[x1], one LPC bus and one SMBus. Moreover, COM-QM77 Rev.B supports up to three independent displays through CRT, LVDS, SFVO, HDMI, DP and DVI.

The COM-QM77 Rev.B offers low-power and optimal performance in terms of its graphics, power management and security platforms, asserts Louise Hsu, Product Manager of AAEON's COM division. This module encompasses USB3.0 and PCIe 3.0, which lets users increase data load and showcase unsurpassed visuals. Furthermore, the 3rd generation Intel Core i7/i5 processors employ built-in visuals, which add to faster HD video streaming and processing for up to three simultaneous displays. Thus, the 3rd generation Intel Core processor family is ideal for Kiosks, Gaming and Digital Signage vertical markets.

The 3rd generation Intel Core processor family is pin-compatible with the 2nd generation Intel Core processors, making it easy for developers to port their previous designs to the newest technology and the improved graphics and energy efficient performance it offers, says Matt Langman, Director of Marketing, Intel Intelligent Systems Group. With up to a 50% increase in 3D graphics improvement from the previous generation processor, high quality video and 3D simulations are possible for kiosks, gaming and digital signage systems.

The IMBA-Q77 can be equipped with a choice of processors from the 3rd generation Intel Core processor family and the Intel Q77 Express chipset. This industrial motherboard supports up to three independent displays via VGA, DVI, HDMI and DP. Support for up to 32GB is possible in four DDR3 SODIMMs. The IMBA-Q77 has six SATA ports for operating system and storage, along with two Gigabit LAN ports for optimal networking. This industrial motherboard has six SATA ports for ample storage. Equipped with up to six COM ports, ten USB ports, one PCIe[x16] slot, one PCIe[x4] slot, two PCIe[x1] slots and three PCI card slots, IMBA-Q77 is ready to go, right out of the box.

The EMB-QM77 is a Mini-ITX form factor board with a 3rd generation Intel Core i7 or Core i5 processor and the mobile Intel QM77 Express chipset. Moreover, up to 16GB of DDR3 1333/600 memory is feasible for two SODIMMs. Its two SATA 6.0Gb/s ports and two SATA 3.0Gb/s ports provide ample storage space. Additionally, this board offers six USB2.0 ports, two USB3.0 ports, one keyboard/mouse and four COM ports. Users can increase board functionality with one PCIe[x16], one Mini Card and one CFast slot. EMB-QM77 has two Gigabit Ethernet ports to help with fast internet connection. This motherboard supports dual display and three independent displays via Displayport, VGA, DVI and HDMI.

The TKS-G50-QM77 takes the GENE-QM77 board to the next level of integration by delivering this board in a fanless Embedded Box system. With the 3rd generation Intel Core processor family and the mobile Intel QM77 Express chipset, maximum performance levels are attained. It has one DDR3 SODIMM, with a maximum of 8GB of memory. Additionally, it has two Gigabit Ethernet ports for speedy internet connections. For plenty of flexibility, this turn key solution offers four COM ports, four USB ports, one SATA port, one DIO, one CFast slot and one mini PCIe.

The AEC-6877 employs the 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processor and mobile Intel QM77 Express chipset. This embedded controller provides up to 4GB of DDR3 memory. Moreover, AEC-6877 utilizes Gigabit Ethernet for speedy internet, while employing a CFast slot and four SATA ports for abundant storage. AEC-6877 supports four USB ports, four COM ports, two PCI slots, one Mini card, one Mic-in, Line-in, Lint-out and one 8-bit programmable DIO for interface options. For display, AEC-6877 supports VGA, DVI and HDMI.

The GENE-QM77 is a 3.5 Subcompact Board with an integrated 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processor and mobile Intel HM76 or Intel QM77 Express chipset. The SODIMM socket supports up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, while two SATA 6.0Gb/s ports and one CFast slot is available for storage. The Intel 82579LM Gigabit Ethernet controller offers quick networking connections, with I/O slots including four COM ports, two USB 3.0 ports, six USB2.0 ports, one keyboard/mouse port and one Line-in, Line-out, Mic-in port.
