Autodesk, Inc. has announced a major series of events: 500 Digital Prototyping Days will be held from May to July 2011 across the EMEA region.
/> Highlighting the strength and breadth of the Autodesk solution and the company’s ability to address the needs of manufacturers across the region, the massive programme of events, all of which are free-of-charge, will be hosted by Autodesk reseller partners and showcase the benefits of the new 2012 release of Autodesk manufacturing software solutions and of the company’s innovative Digital Prototyping technology in general.

Digital Prototyping is a revolutionary approach to product development that enables users to design, visualise, and simulate products rapidly and cost-effectively; help grow revenue, spur innovation, and deliver quality products faster than ever.

All customers of AutoCAD Inventor Suite 2011 under subscription will receive a free upgrade to the new Autodesk Product Design Suite. As a result, they will obtain access to a single package containing a comprehensive set of award-winning design, visualisation and simulation software, for their entire product design workflow - from early concepts and detailed engineering to simulation - and the chance to create exciting, innovative products.

The suite contains new versions of a range of Autodesk products including Autodesk® Inventor®; AutoCAD® Mechanical; Autodesk® Vault; Autodesk® 3ds Max® Design; Autodesk® SketchBook® Designer and Autodesk® Showcase®.

At the Digital Prototyping Days customers will have an opportunity to learn more about the benefits of the new Product Design Suite.

In addition, all attendees will have the opportunity to view live demonstrations of all the latest Autodesk products, including the new Factory Design and Product Design suites and Autodesk® Inventor® 2012.

As a result, they will benefit from the ability to obtain access to a single cost-effective package containing a comprehensive set of award-winning design, visualisation, and simulation software, for their entire product design workflow - from early concepts and detailed engineering to simulation - and the chance to create exciting, innovative products.

“The events give Autodesk customers the chance to learn about the latest tips and tricks to get the most from the new software suite; carry out their daily design work more efficiently and get their products to market faster and at less cost,” says xxx Autodesk. “For other design technology users, the Digital Prototyping Days offer the chance to see the technology and to talk to their peers who are already using the solutions.

“Autodesk experts will be on hand at the events delivering insights covering everything from how to work effectively with large assemblies to how to create better drawings more quickly to drive greater competitive edge and common pitfalls to avoid in the design process,” he adds.

“This is a ’must-attend’ event for our customers in the manufacturing and mechanical design sectors. And we are confident that every CAD manager or user attending will come away feeling it was time well spent.”
