electronica China 2013 Final Report In One Word: Innovation
electronica China and productronica China were successfully concluded at Shanghai New International Expo Center on March 21, 2013. The exhibition space has grown from three halls in 2012 to four halls in 2013. With 46,000 square meters, the trade fairs broke the records, increasing by 31 percent. 737 exhibitors from 17 countries displayed their latest developments and product innovations and showed the future market trend of the electronics industry. The three-day trade fairs attracted more than 47,287 visitors, a 13 percent increase, from different application fields such as automotive, electric power, railway, medical, consumer or LED.

electronica 2012 Final Report: international trade fair leaves industry feeling confident
The 25th electronica, the International Trade Fair for Electronic Components, Systems and Applications, came to a close today with more than 72,000 visitors. A total of 2,669 exhibitors from 49 countries presented the future of electronics and showcased application-oriented solutions during the four-day fair, which revolved around intelligent and energy-efficient solutions in the sectors for energy storage, LEDs and smart grids. Smart grids were also the focus of this year's CEO Round Table, one of the highlights in the related-events program.

The 13th edition of electronica India and productronica India 2012 ended on a high-note with record number of exhibitors and visitors. The number of trade visitors at electronica India and productronica India 2012 recorded 11,085 visitors, a growth of 8 percent over the previous edition. 315 exhibitors presented their products, solutions and services at the trade fair from September 11 – 13, 2012. Both exhibitors and visitors were extremely satisfied with the outcome of the show.

The number of exhibitors saw an increase of more than 38 percent compared to 2011. 41,847 visitors, 10 percent more than 2011, had a look on core technologies from renowned original leaders worldwide. The Latest Manufacturing Methods For Photovoltaic Modules Will Be On Show At LASER World of PHOTONICS 2011
Optoelectronic systems are being used to an increasing extent in the manufacture of photovoltaic (PV) modules and are helping greatly to increase production efficiency. In particular, laser technology is proving its superiority in processes such as material removal, fusion, soldering, welding and drilling. Lasers have become indispensable tools, especially in the manufacture of thin-layer solar cells. Manufacturers are therefore profiting directly from the continuing positive trend in the photovoltaics industry: Trade associations and research institutes are predicting a growth rate of between 10 and 20 percent in 2011. LASER World of PHOTONICS 2011 will therefore also examine the area of photovoltaics manufacturing as part of the focus topic of "Green Photonics" from May 23 to 26, 2011.

productronica, the world's leading trade fair for electronics production held every two years in Munich, has undergone a reorganization. Norbert Bargmann, Deputy CEO of the Board of Management of Messe München GmbH, assumed overall management responsibility for the event from the start of 2010. Christian Rocke (pictured) was appointed as the new Exhibition Director with effect from February 1, 2010. productronica confirms its position as the World's leading trade fair for electronics production
Electronics manufacturers from all over the world met at productronica 2009 in Munich from November 10 to 13, 2009. In spite of the economic crisis, the trade fair attracted 1,150 exhibitors and additionally represented companies (2007: 1,477). productronica therefore suffered a much lower decrease than many companies in the industry. The exhibition area amounted to 75,000 square meters in seven halls. 39 per cent of exhibitors came from abroad. The internationality of the trade fair therefore remained at the same high level from the previous event.
