High Speed Low Power Atmel AVR Microcontroller With 10-bit ADC
Rapid has introduced a new addition to the stocked range of AVR Flash Microcontrollers, targeting battery chargers, sensor end-points and low-end motor control applications. The ATtiny44, Rapid code 73-4332, has 4 KB of Self-Programmable Flash memory and delivers 20 MIPS throughput when running at 20 MHz. It is available ex-stock at Rapid in a 14-pin surface mount plastic package.
N-channel power MOSFETs
The latest range of Vishay n-channel power MOSFETs is now available from Rapid. This new PowerPAK ChipFET package offers advanced thermal performance in a compact 3 mm by 1.8 mm footprint. Featuring a broad variety of configurations and voltages, the new devices allow designers to easily replace larger power MOSFETs in a wide range of power conversion applications.
New High brightness surface mount LEDs
A new range of high brightness LEDs from TruOpto has been introduced by Rapid. The LEDs are housed in industry standard PLCC-2 and PLCC-4 cases with luminous intensities of up to 750 millicandela. PLCC-2 cases measuring 3.5 x 2.7 x 1.9mm house single colour LEDs available in red, yellow, blue, green and white. The PLCC-4 option (3.5 x 2.8 x 1.9mm) houses a red, green and a blue chip and by varying the current across the dice, all colours of the spectrum can be achieved.
Xenon filled lamps said to burn brighter for longer
A new range of Xenon-filled, wedge-based lamps manufactured by CML-IT is now available from Rapid. Designed for use in a variety of automotive, gaming machinery, aviation, signalisation and architectural applications, the latest Xenon lamps are currently available in three different models: 41-0766 (14V 3.4W rating, T10 size, 10000 hour life), 41-0768 (12V 5W rating, T10 size, 3000 hour life) and 41-0770 (12V 6W rating, T10 size, 1000 hour life).
