Powersolve Electronics Ltd. was established in 1987 by a group of experienced power supply specialists who had had many years previous experience in the world wide power supply industry. The company was set up to provide a very wide range of standard products, not only of the highest quality, but also at competitive prices and variants and custom power supplies when the need arises. Since then our product portfolio has grown to one of the most comprehensive ranges of power products available from any one supplier or manufacturer. We have in house design capabilities and together with our overseas manufacturing partners are able to offer a product for most power applications.

Powersolve Announce Low-Cost AC Inrush Current Limiter
A low-cost peak inrush current limiter designed for capacitive loads in automation systems and machinery is announced by leading power specialist Powersolve. The ESB-101 accepts AC inputs from 184 to 265VAC, limits power-up currents and provides continuous operation up to 16A. According to Powersolve's Managing Director Peter Clark, the new device is not to be confused with a simple NTC (thermistor) solution.

Single Output 800W Power Supplies Feature Fully Programmable Output Voltage And Current
Powersolve has launched a new series of AC/DC power supplies designed to provide up to 800W from a low profile 1U high metal case. The seven models in the PAE800 series all feature a 90-264VAC input voltage range with active PFC and forced active current sharing for parallel operation.
Models in the PAE800 series offer single outputs of 12V, 15V, 24V, 30V, 36V, 48V and 60VDC, programmable between 0% and 105%,. Output current is also programmable between 0% and 105%. Efficiency levels are high at 93%.

Having announced a full line up of Rechargeable Lithium Cells, Powersolve has now introduced an intelligent battery charger that can charge both Li-Ion and Li-Polymer cells. Powersolve - Cylindrical Lithium Ion Rechargeable Batteries
Powersolve just announced the GMB Cylindrical Series of rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries that combine high operating voltage with high energy density and a low self-discharge rate. GMB Series cells provide a nominal 3.7V with capacities from 650mAh up to 2200mAh in cylindrical packages from 14.3mm diameter x 43mm high up to 18.3mm x 65mm. They have no memory effect and exhibit a flat discharge curve and a stable running voltage for the duration of the discharge cycle.
