The new cable gland has been specially designed for use with copper braid screen cables with external diameters of between 9-68mm, and is now available in metric threads from 25mm up to 75mm.

LAPP's Cable Range For Equipment Exports to USALapp has announced a key addition to its ÖLFLEX M and TM cable ranges produced to meet the latest USA safety legislation for electrical equipment - NFPA 2007. The new ÖLFLEX CONTROL TM CY cable has a double screening of tinned copper wire braid and aluminium foil ensuring a high level of resistance against electrical interference. According to Lapp, the new cable is suitable for open or exposed runs on cable trays between equipment or devices and both on and in machines in industrial establishments in accordance to NEC 336.10(7).

Voltage rating is from 450 to 750V and it meets the exacting requirements of VDE 0282 part 12. Right-Angle Connector has Swivel baseLapp has added two new connectors to its EPIC range. For use by machine tool, motion drive and robotics manufacturers the CIRCON LS1 A3 is suitable for power connections and the CIRCON M23 A3 is for data and control signals. Both are said to be unique in the market because of their patented swivel base. Right-angled connectors are commonly used in the manufacture of industrial systems to save space. In many cases final assembly of complete systems can be difficult and time consuming because of the location and inaccessibility of the connectors.
