LASER COMPONENTS is proud to offer the SiTek range of two-dimensional position sensing detectors (PSDs), which give high accuracy (±0.3% typical non-linearity) readings over areas up to 45mm x 45mm. These detectors are also available with UV- or YAG enhancement or as nuclear detectors.

LASER COMPONENTS can now offer filters, which are specifically designed for the photolithography process. These bandpass filters produce a high performance result, which resolves monochromatic wavelengths reaching the photo mask substrate so that optimum resolution is achievable.
These instruments measure distances and coordinates to a very high degree of precision. As a single surface invariant reflector, the BMR's provide great accuracy, together with a constant optical path difference. This is especially important because it allows accurate distance measurement without the need to account for refraction, a common problem when using solid, prism type retroreflectors.
The range of temperature sensor modules has been expanded by our partner, Dexter Research Center. One can choose between a 3V and 5V operating voltage and a 70° or 35° field of view. Infrared TSMs require an isothermal environment. The integrated thermistor corrects a slow drift of the surrounding temperature. Due to the compact design of the TO-5 housing and its integrated signal processing, all sensors in this series absorb temperature shocks well. The inexpensive LSC-035 driver was developed for N type cw laser diodes with a maximum operating current of 300mA. The wide-ranging supply voltage of up to 15V allows the operation of blue, red, and NIR laser diodes. A protective circuit shields the laser diodes from damage resulting from ESD, high temperatures, and current peaks. It safely filters out the transient characteristics of the supply voltage.
The Ultra Stable Hard Mounted Hollow Retroreflector (USHM) is a self-compensating mirror that is totally insensitive to position and movement, such as tilt and rotation. Parallel incident light falling on the USHM will be reflected back with great accuracy regardless of the USHM's physical orientation.
The new ModBoxTTX from Photline Technologies is a benchtop tunable laser source designed for laboratory and production use. The ModBoxTTX offers a 1MHz resolution over 40nm of wavelength tunability in either the A band, the C band or the L band. It delivers a comfortable 13.5dBm (optional 15.5dBm) output power of highly pure (100kHz linewidth) light from a polarisation maintaining output fibre.
