Fujitsu Semiconductor Limited today announced the launch of an upgraded lineup of its FM3 Family of 32-bit general-purpose RISC microcontrollers based on the ARM Cortex-M3 processor core. In total, Fujitsu Semiconductor is releasing 38 new products, including the MB9BF529TPMC, which is equipped with high-capacity memory, and the MB9BF121JPMC, which features low pin count packaging.
Fujitsu announce the appointment of Robert D. Pryor (Bob) as president and CEO of Fujitsu in North America. Pryor brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, where he will be responsible for accelerating the growth of Fujitsu in North America and focusing the business on the needs of clients in the U.S., Canada and Caribbean.
Fujitsu have today revealed the launch of two new FRAM products, MB85RS1MT and MB85RS2MT. Featuring 1 Mbit and 2 Mbit memory densities, respectively, these are the highest density SPI FRAM products currently offered by Fujitsu Semiconductor. Fujitsu Semiconductor today announced that it has achieved high output power of 2.5kW in server power-supply units equipped with gallium-nitride (GaN) power devices built on a silicon substrate. Fujitsu have unveiled a new addition to its wide voltage range Ferroelectric Random Access Memory product series (V series). The newly launched MB85RC256V offers the highest density level in the V series and is Fujitsu's first FRAM product that operates in an even wider voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, which provides even greater flexibility for customer applications.

Fujitsu today announced the immediate availability, in 46 countries, of Interstage List Creator V10, the latest edition of its software tool for designing and generating business-use forms. The Internet Protocol Suite from SEVENSTAX is now also available for Fujitsu's single- and TwinMAC ARM Cortex-M3 from the FM3 family. Open source service providers emlix have integrated an Embedded Linux system into a Fujitsu D3003-S2 mainboard with AMD Embedded G-Series CPU. All components required for HD video and 3D graphics, including the binary drivers, were adapted by emlix in accordance with the license by using the fglrx drivers, making full use of the relevant hardware resources. This allows smooth playback of HD videos and the display of highly complex 3D graphics.

Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe and HTV, a high performance centre for electronic components, today announce an extended partnership for the first On-Site Programming lab for FSEU.
