New Industrial Rugged TFT modules designed specifically for demanding environments are now available from Densitron. The new Mitsubishi displays, ranging from 5" to 12.1", offer a super-wide viewing angle of 170-degree horizontal/vertical, an operating temperature range of up to -30~80°C and an outstanding outdoor visibility with brightness level of up to 1000 nits. The TFT modules also come with long-term supply guarantee and adopt an advanced LED backlight that has a typical lifetime of 100,000 hours.

Whilst high voltage can be created using a low voltage supply together with a number of external components, for example, DC/DC converter chip, capacitor, inductor and sometimes resistor, all these additional parts can increase costs. With the new embedded feature, only a single low voltage supply (3.3V-4.2V) and three add-on capacitors are required to power up each display, bringing up to 90% savings on the costs associated with external components normally required for a PMOLED.
