An Extreme Temperature Binary Counter 74-4040 is Now Available from CISSOID

CISSOID is launching CHT-74-4040, a new member of its GALAXY digital product family. CHT-74-4040 is a 12-stage asynchronous binary counter, that can be used for instance as a frequency divider with a division rate up to 4096. Like other CHT products from CISSOID, it is guaranteed for operation from -55°C up to +225°C. It can also operate with a supply voltage in the range 3.3 to 5V (±10%).

Introducing VEGA, a 225°C Adjustable 500mA LDO Voltage Regulator in a Ceramic Package

CISSOID introduces VEGA, a new low dropout, linear, voltage regulator for embedded power supply needs in applications that must sustain high-temperature, harsh environments or that simply require extended lifetimes. Part of the STAR family of products from CISSOID, the voltage regulator CHT-VEGA delivers a regulated output with up to 500mA from a standard 5V ±10% voltage input. Output voltage can be adjusted anywhere between 1.2V and 3.3V. It is packaged in a tiny SMD ceramic package TDFP 5x5.5mm, guaranteed for operation from -55°C up to +225°C.

CISSOID Releases HADES, a High Temperature and High Reliability Isolated Gate Driver for High Density Power Converters

CISSOID launched HADES, the first isolated gate driver solution designed to drive high temperature power transistors, specifically (but not exclusively) Silicon carbide (SiC) and Gallium nitride (GaN) fast-switching devices. With HADES, system engineers can develop power converters that are 5 times smaller and lighter than before, with better efficiency. They will also get power converters able to operate in high temperature ambiance if required. No matter what the ambient temperature is, the life time of the system will be an order of magnitude longer than traditional solutions.

CISSOID just released CHT-GANYMEDE, a high-temperature 80V dual series small-signal diode in a small hermetically sealed metal can TO-18 package. This new device includes two diodes connected in series that can sustain a reverse voltage of 80V, have a maximum forward current of 300mA at 225°C and are suitable for operation from -55°C up to +225°C. This dual diode is a general purpose discrete component which and can be used in a variety of applications, including clamping, low-current rectification and sensing, among others.

CISSOID has released recent test results of their circuits by NASA for extreme high and extreme low temperature applications. Researchers at NASA's Glenn Research Center have tested recently a CHT-555 SOI timer circuit. The circuit was provided unpackaged by CISSOID and then tested using special high temperature packaging technology developed at Glenn.
