Binder has responded to increasing customer demand by supplying cut lengths of the same high quality cable as is used in the production of its own moulded connector/cable combinations. This allows customers to use the same PUR and PVC cables for terminating Binder's extensive range of field-attachable connectors as are used on the pre-terminated over-moulded cables.
The widely used range of Binder M8 connectors has been enhanced with the introduction of new angled versions with screw clamp contacts. The three and four pole connectors consist of a contact carrier and an angled cable outlet with locking screw and the innovative design allows the housing to be mounted in one of two positions 180° apart so that the angled cable outlet can be oriented to suit the application.
The widely-used Series 720 range of snap-in IP67 connectors from Binder has been extended with the introduction of panel mount versions with dip-solder contacts that complement the existing solder-bucket panel mount versions and the cable and moulded connectors.
The popular and extensive range of Binder M16 connectors has been extended with the introduction of versions with crimp termination allowing simple and easy termination without the need for soldering.
The popular Binder 620 series of sub-miniature, snap-in, IP67 connectors has been extended with both the cable connectors and panel mount sockets now available in red, blue and green options in addition to the existing black versions thus providing a simple and low-cost coding system.
Binder UK will be joining forces with its parent company Franz Binder GmbH and showing a wide range of circular connectors on Stand 261 in Hall B3 at Electronica 2012 on 13th to 16th November. Among the extensive display will be high-power versions of M12 connectors that can carry up to 8A on each contact. Until recently M12 connectors have been limited to 4A with a maximum cable diameter of 8mm and individual wire sizes of 0.75mm².
The extensive range of Binder IP67, M16 connectors that is available in both nickel plated brass (series 423) and black polyamide (series 723) has now been approved by United Laboratories and issued certificate number 20120329-E302391.
Binder UK has today announced that it will be showing a wide range of circular connectors on Stand D11 at Sensing Technology 2012 to be held at the NEC, Birmingham on 25th and 26th September. Products will include the extensive range of M5, M8 and M12 sensor connectors used widely in the sensor, instrumentation, automation, medical and industrial equipment markets, along with new product developments such as high current versions of M12 connectors that are rated at 12A.
The popular Binder RD24 connector range has been extended with the introduction of new right-angled versions with larger cable outlets. Until now angled versions could only accommodate cables between 6-8mm but the new versions can accommodate cable sizes of 8-10mm (PG11) and 10-12mm (PG13.5) increasing the application range.
The Binder Series 620 snap-in, IP67 connectors has been extended by the introduction of a panel-mount version with dip-solder contacts that complements the existing, highly-popular, solder-bucket panel mount versions.
The already extensive range of Binder Series 768 M8 connectors has been enhanced with the introduction of a new version that has screw terminations with improved contact geometry and pin number markings that simplifies termination of the screw contacts.
The already comprehensive Series 423 range of Binder IP67 M16 connectors has been extended with addition of a modified design format that has a length of only 45mm, 25% shorter than the standard connectors.
Binder UK has added to its extensive M12 connector range, with the introduction of an eight-pole shieldable connector with a cable outlet of 8 to 10mm.
Binder UK has appointed David McKenzie as key account manager. His primary responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities with OEMs in market areas such as medical devices, security and lighting as well as Binder core markets such as sensors and automation. In addition, David's role will include supporting the network of key specialist distribution channels.
Now available from Binder UK is a male panel mount version of its range of 12-pole M12 connectors. Historically the M12 connector, the accepted standard connector for automation, was restricted to simple digital switching functions but Binder recently added a 12-pole to its 4, 5 and 8 pole M12 range in response to the demand from the automation industry for more complex signals requiring an increasing number of contacts.
Now available from Binder UK are new high-power versions of M12 connectors that can carry up to 8A on each contact.
Binder UK, the newly formed subsidiary of Franz Binder, the German connector manufacturer, now supplies an enhanced version of the Series 766 range of M12 B-coded connectors that is available with bulkhead sockets pre-terminated on 0.5m Profibus cable.
