SIM controller targets 3G Java applications

A generation of controllers, designed for SIM/USIM/M2M applications, has been introduced by StarChip. SCFXXXI, the company’s 3rd gen controller series, includes devices which are claimed to provide the best power, cost, and performance trade-off to the Telecomms market. The SCF400I, which is designed for 3G Java applications, is the first controller to be released from the series.

StarChip Samples Its SCF670H SIM Controller To Tackle 4G/LTE Market

StarChip is currently sampling the SCF670H product, its latest SIM controller designed to tackle the booming 4G/LTE market. The SCF670H is the latest member of a family introduced a few months ago with the SCF335H. This family aims at covering the whole Telecom market from Native to high-end SWP through USIM Java Card and 4G/LTE applications. Following members of this family addressing Native sub-segments will be introduced in a few weeks.

ISRA CARDS and StarChip Develop new generation of Printed Antennas

StarChip and ISRA CARDS have collaborated on the development of printed antennas. The new antenna design is the result of ISRA CARDS expertise in printed antennas over different plastic substrates. ISRA CARDS developed a unique antenna embedding process enabling the full in-house production of contactless and secure dual interface smart cards in its secured site in France.
