Fan controllers deliver temperature-sensitive speed control

Energy-efficient fan controllers together with the 4300N series of fans from ebm-papst, are in stock at RS Components. The latest fan controller solutions are low-cost, credit-card-sized devices. The DCP controllers offer optimised power consumption by providing temperature-sensitive speed control for four-wire PWM controlled compact fans at 12, 24 and 48V DC.

80 variants extend switch-mode power supplies family

A family of more than 80 chassis-mount switched-mode power supplies (SMPS) has extended the RSPro range from RS Components. The range covers power ratings from 15W to 1000W and a choice of fixed, single DC output at 5V, 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V. The outputs are regulated within ±10%, with ripple and noise as low as 120mVp-p at 12V.

Flyback switcher ICs cut power losses by 25%

A family of offline flyback switcher ICs from Power Integrations that offer efficiency of up to 94% are available from RS Components. They suit state-of-the-art compact power supply designs. The family can also cut power supply losses by a further 25% when compared to the previous generation, enabling the development of small and lightweight power supplies that do not require heatsinks, but can still handle up to 65W of power.

Compact 20MHz oscilloscope boasts sampling rate of 200MS/s

The launch of the TGF3000 series of function/arbitrary generators celebrates the 40-years working partnership between RS and Aim-TTi.
