Support tools for efficient motor control

2016 European MCU Car Rally winners announced

Add flash memory to automotive analogue devices

Process Full-HD 12-channel video using just 197mW

Designed for automotive computing SoCs used in autonomous vehicles of the future, Renesas has announced the development of a video processing circuit block. The circuit block handles processing of vehicle camera video with 70ms latency, processing video in real time on large volumes of data with 197mW power consumption and without imposing any additional load on the CPU and GPU, which are responsible for autonomous vehicle control.

32-bit MCUs combine high performance with DSP & FPU

The RX230 Group of 32-bit MCUs have been introduced by Renesas Electronics Europe. The MCUs achieve top-class power performances in standby at only 0.8μA and operate from a 1.8-5.5V supply, making them suitable for applications requiring high processing performance in environments with low current supply capacity, as well as the robustness needed in home appliance applications.
