Megger now offers an instrument that is designed to detect and trace cables and metallic conductors that are in walls or buried underground.

Megger has added to its family of digital low resistance ohmmeters to include the DLRO2X.

Megger battery tester can assess lead acid batteries, NiCD batteries, and lithium-ion batteries up to 200Vdc. The BITE5 is ideal for use in transmission and distribution substations, solar, UPS maintenance, telecom and data centre applications.

The EVCC300 is used to check the safety and operation of level 1 and level 2 EV chargers.

Megger now offers a solar clamp meter that can measure up to 2,000V DC and 1,500V AC (using PVHV leads) during installation, maintenance, monitoring and testing of photovoltaic systems and standard AC or DC electrical equipment. The DCM1500S can also measure AC and DC current up to 1,500A and offers a true RMS reading on the AC range for greater measurement accuracy.

Megger now offers a digital low resistance ohmmeter that can deliver reliable results when using long test leads. The DLRO2, a 2 Amp handheld tester, is well suited for use in production line testing and industrial applications. This robust and intuitive handheld instrument offers a ‘difference meter’ that allows for quick data comparisons.

Megger has recently donated 20 digital multimetres to 20 graduating high school seniors in the Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Systems class at Johnson County High School (JCHS) located in Mountain City, Tennessee. 

Electrical test equipment manufacturer, Megger, has announced the launch of its new series of next-generation AVO800 multimetres, designed to provide electrical contractors and field service technicians witha high level of data and results validity as well as a comprehensive host of new and advanced product features.

It has been announced that Megger now offers digital multimeters for electrical installation and service applications. The AVO800 series offers a voltage range up to 1,000VTrms and is designed to reduce the need for additional auxiliary instrumentation, such as phase rotation detectors and non-contact voltage wands.

An insulation and continuity tester designed specifically for the telecommunications and cable testing markets has been announced by Megger.  The MIT485/2TC-LG2 replaces Megger’s original MIT480 range tester. This handheld instrument features fixed test voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V and 500V, as well as variable test voltages from 10V to 500V. Insulation testing can be performed up to 100GΩ at 500V. 

An insulation and continuity tester that allows users to test the insulation of twisted copper cable pairs has been released by Megger. Ideal for use in the telecommunications industry, the MIT410-TC/3 helps identify problems that can arise from exposed wire in services ranging from voice and video to data or VoIP.
