During this year’s SEMICON Europa, which took place at the same time as productronica, Douglas Rudd from GE Digital gave a presentation entitled ‘realising the IIoT opportunity’.   

The UDXS0606 (digital) and UVXS0606 (analogue) non-isolated POL power modules have been released by GE’s Critical Power business, expanding it’s DualDLynx product family. According to the company, the modules offer up to 25% reduction in board space usage, compared to competing solutions. 

Claiming an industry-leading 30% reduction in board space over previous and competing solutions, the UDXS1212 POL power module enables OEMs to utilise two 12A parts in a single module instead of two individual modules.
