Development boards advance applications versatility

Polymer capacitors offer ESR values below 10mohm

Farnell element14 has introduced the Wurth Elektronik WCAP series SMD and Leaded aluminium polymer capacitors containing solid conductive polymer instead of wet aluminium electrolytic, with ESR values below 10mΩ. The series is the outcome of a general trend among aluminium capacitor manufacturers to develop new polymer alternatives that offer customers a variety of new options.

Development kit covers wireless MCU platform options

Farnell element14 has introduced the Texas Instruments’ SimpleLink CC2650 Development Kit, including all the hardware required to evaluate the SimpleLink Wireless MCU ultra-low-power platform. Through-hole inductors suit DC/DC converters

Vishay’s range of IHTH high-current, high-temperature, through-hole inductors including the AEC-Q200-qualified IHTH-0750IZ-5A and IHTH-1125KZ-5A are on sale at Farnell element14. These feature an operating temperature range from -55 °C to +155 °C, high rated currents up to 125 A, and a wide range of inductance values from 0.47 µH to 100 µH. They are available in 0750 and 1125 sizes.

CAD software enables complex PCB designs

DC motor control shield accelerates Arduino projects
