Acquisition adds resistors to passive components portfolio

Exxelia has announced that it has completed, on Dec 23rd, 2019, the acquisition of Micropen Technologies Corporation. Micropen is a manufacturer of high technology resistors, known under the Ohmcraft brand, serving the medical, defence, space and industrial markets. Micropen also manufactures with the same technology special sensors dedicated to the medical and security markets.

MIL wet tantalum capacitors qualified to Level P

Exxelia has received the P-Level qualification approval for its Wet Tantalum Capacitors MIL-PRF-39006/22. Exxelia’s MIL 39006/22 equivalent to CLR79 series is now approved to P-level reliability (0,1% / 1,000 h) for voltage ranges from 6V to 125V with a capacitance value ranging from 1,7μF to 1200μF.
