electronica offers Additional platform for the PCB industry
In close cooperation with the ZVEI, the PCB Marketplace communications platform is being initiated at electronica for the first time. Following its successful launch at productronica 2011, now the forum as well as a networking area will be a central gathering for the PCB industry at electronica. The International Trade Fair for Electronic Components, Systems and Applications takes place in Munich from November 13 – 16.

Smart energy solutions is one of the main themes of electronica 2012, the International Trade Fair for Electronic Components, Systems and Applications. From November 13 – 16, 2012, the industry’s leading manufacturers from around the world will present their solutions and products in the sectors for energy efficiency, energy storage, LEDs and smart grids.
electronica 2012 Online Registration now active
Messe Muenchen International, organizer of electronica 2012, has revealed that online visitor registration is now available at: www.electronica.de/en/ticket. By pre-registering for electronica 2012, visitors can save up to 20% on ticket prices and avoid the entry queues on arrival at the Munich Trade Fair Centre.
First sponsors announced for embedded platforms conference
Farnell, Infineon, Toshiba, TQ Systems and Texas Instruments are the first companies to sponsor the new embedded platforms conference, which is being held in conjunction with electronica for the first time on November 14 and 15. The International Trade Fair for Electronic Components, Systems and Applications takes place in Munich from November 13 – 16.

For many years, electronica has provided a biennial shop window for the global electronics industry and, over time, has become the largest event of its kind in the World. The 2010 fair was attended by more than 72,000 visitors from 76 countries and 2,578 exhibitors from 46 countries and this year’s show is on track to be equally as successful.

For the first time, electronica and its partners ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS and MicroConsult are holding an embedded platforms conference -- November 14 and 15. electronica China and productronica China welcomed 664 exhibitors from 19 countries in Shanghai. The number of exhibitors saw an increase of more than 38 percent compared to 2011. 41,847 visitors, 10 percent more than 2011, had a look on core technologies from renowned original leaders worldwide. The shows displayed the latest development of worldwide electronic industry and unveiled the future market opportunities.
