Extreme Engineering Solutions, Inc. (X-ES) is now shipping the XPort9100, a ruggedized XMC module that supports eight +28V general purpose input/output (GPIO) channels, commonly used to control subsystems within military aircraft and vehicles.
The XPort9100 is designed for use in avionics, as well as ground vehicle and ship-board applications, to control subsystems such as fire control and target acquisition systems.

The XPort9100 features include:
• Eight avionics-level (+28V) GPIO channels
• Each GPIO is configurable as either an input or an output
• Each I/O signal is optically isolated
• Conduction-cooled XMC form factor

Each input channel of the XPort9100 can be configured to generate an interrupt, and each output channel is capable of pulse-width modulation (PWM).
