Austin Hughes Announce DVI-D KVM 19 Inch Rack Mount Console

Austin Hughes has today announced the expansionof its range of CyberView 19 inch rack mount consoles with the addition of an ultra-high resolution version incorporating a 12 port DVI-D KVM switch. The 17 inch widescreen has a 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) resolution that supports, Windows 7, Vista, XP, Linux and Mac OS X.
The single user 12 port DVI-D, USB and audio KVM switch also supports the same ultra-high resolution as well as the native Sun 1152 x 900 resolution and multi-platforms for PCs, Sun, Mac G3 / G4 and iMac.



The latest KVM console is an enhanced version of the previous RKP series, offering improved aesthetics with a new plastic front panel design. The membrane switch on the front of the unit operates the on screen display that covers all key functions regarding Picture, PC, Audio as well as PIP options. Standard keyboards are 104-key notepad style and are available in multiple languages with either a touchpad or trackball mouse. MAC and Sun keyboards with trackball or mouse are also a standard option.



The KVM switch ports connect to the DVI servers using either a 6ft or 15ft four in one combo KVM cable consisting of DVI-D + USB + 3.5mm stereo audio at the server end and DVI-D + USB 3.0 at the KVM port. Connection to the console / screen keyboard uses the same cable with the DVI-D + USB 3.0 at the console end.



Switching from server to server can be carried out manually using the push buttons on the top of the unit or via keyboard hotkeys. Connected and active ports are indicted by either LEDs on the front panel or via the OSD (on screen display) menu. The OSD hotkey can also be configured using different key combinations and the multilingual interface allows users to select English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Japanese and simplified Chinese.



The standard power input is auto sensing 100 to 240 VAC. 50/60 Hz with special options available of 12v, 24v or 48v.
