Wide temperature embedded box PC features wide range DC input

Axiomtek has announced the arrival of the eBOX626-853-FL, a slim-type fanless embedded system with wide range temperature and wide range DC input support. The cost effective compact embedded box PC is designed to support the Intel Celeron processor quad-core N3150 (codename: Braswell) integrated with Intel Gen 8 graphics and DirectX 11.1. One DDR3L 1333/1600 SO-DIMM socket supports up to 8 GB memory.

The IP40-rated industrial computer eBOX626-853-FL combines low power consumption with high performance graphics and computing for smart automation, transportation, industrial gateway, multiple media kiosk and other IoT&M2M applications. 

“The Axiomtek eBOX626-853-FL is built with a heavy-duty aluminum extrusion with IP40-rated ingress protection. The rugged embedded box PC is capable of operating under wide temperatures from -20 to +60°C and has 3G vibration protection. The wide DC input power ranging from 9 to 36VDC is provided to suit for more industrial as well as embedded applications. Its fanless design allows for noiseless operations and lowers maintenance cost. The DIN-rail mountable design makes it ideal for industrial cabinets and enclosures,” said Vincent Ji, Product Manager of Product Marketing Division, Axiomtek. 

The eBOX626-853-FL is equipped with two PCI Express Mini Card slots, one SIM card socket and three SMA-type antenna openings to meet the diversity needs of wireless communications. One 2.5” SATA HDD drive bay and mSATA are available for sufficient storage. The super slim fanless box platform comes with advanced I/O connectivity including one RS-232/422/485 ports, three RS-232 ports, three USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, audio, VGA, and HDMI interfaces.

Additionally, the Axiomtek eBOX626-853-FL provides an optional I/O output connector that can be used to connect to various Mini Card modules or 8-CH Digital I/O kit. The Intel Braswell SoC embedded platform runs well with the Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows Embedded Standard 8, and Linux. Its versatile mounting options include VESA mount, wall mount, and DIN-rail mount.
