Sabtech has today announced its participation at Defense & Security Equipment International, September 10-13 at ExCel London. From Stand N4-344 in the U.S. Pavilion, Stage 2, Sabtech will be unveiling several new products for command, control, communications, computers, combat, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

Held every two years in the heart of London's Royal Docks, DSEI is the world’s largest fully integrated defense and security exhibition that brings together the entire industry to source the latest equipment and systems, develop international relationships, and generate new business opportunities.

At DSEI, Sabtech executives will be on hand to discuss their latest advancements for providing state-of-the-art tactical communications technology designed to advance the reliability of data input and output supporting Naval and Airborne Tactical Data Systems. With the continuing goal of connecting open architecture communications technology to legacy equipment, Sabtech introduces these new products during DSEI:

  • PowerNet – The second generation PowerNet family of NTDS to Ethernet converters has been expanded to include an ATDS version to convert MIL-STD-188-2-3-1A, Appendix D2 interfaces to Ethernet. It can be used for client-server applications or as a transparent Ethernet connection between two ATDS devices. In addition, PowerNet can be used as an Ethernet bridge where legacy data links are transparently extended over long distances using two end-to-end PowerNet servers over an Ethernet LAN connection.
  • Falcon 1553 Board Family – Sabtech’s new MIL-STD-1553B boards provide versatile single or dual-redundant channels in a compact, yet robust form factor for PMC, PCIe, PCI, cPCI and VME. The Falcon is also available in a version with MIL-STD-1553B and parallel MIL-STD-1397C NTDS interfaces combined on a single PCI board. This innovative design approach conserves slot space and allows for easy configuration while providing full featured performance.
  • Sparrow ATDS Serial Board for AMC – Compliant with MIL-STD-188-2-3-1A, Appendix D2, the Sparrow provides compact and reliable ATDS communications for Advanced Mezzanine Card carriers. Features include easy programming and maintenance, multiple input and output modes, interface monitoring, data capturing, and testing without disconnecting cables.
