Targeted at users of netbooks, notebooks or other portable computers, the myConnect E1759FWU portable monitor has been released by AOC. Providing additional display space for increased working efficiency, the device features a 17.3″ screen. Due to the device’s 10W energy consumption, only one USB 3.0 cable is required for data transfer and power supply, making it practical.

The monitor is USB 3.0 compatible, which offers a data bandwidth of 5GB, enabling fast charging and a high picture quality. Dual monitor set-up is quick and easy and allows business users to set up a comprehensive work environment when working outside the office. Weighing only 1.28kg the device is suitable for business trips. To share information with customers, business users can use the additional screen provided. A protective sleeve is offered with the monitor, enabling ease of transport.

Suitable for desk presentations, document viewing and texting or emailing, the E1759FWU is provided with a stand that can be rotated, allowing the user to view it in landscape or portrait. For practical storage, the stand can be neatly folded away. The control of brightness, contrast and power settings is made easy through the intelligent software offered with the monitor. Allowing users to multitask, the device can connect to six USB displays simultaneously.

The myConnect E1759FWU will be available from November 2014 and priced at £110.
