A series of panel PCs targeting navigation at sea has been released by APLEX Technology. The APC-3X20 panel PCs are available in 12.1, 19 and 24” LCD sizes equipped with wide viewing angle screens to fit different vessel requirements. The IEC 60945 certified devices, which are compliant with the DNV Standard, feature sunlight/moonlight readability, an anti-corrosion coating, isolated voltage and dimming technology.

The APC-3X20 panel PCs are powered by 4th gen Intel i processors with up to 4GB of system memory. Alongside the sunlight/moonlight readability, the devices feature a resolution of up to 1920x1080 for a crystal clear display. The dimming technology allows users to adjust the brightness of the panel PCs by 0-100% via a VR knob. For protection against incidental surge and burst at sea, the PCs operate across a 9-36VDC isolated voltage range.

Storage options include one 2.5” SATA HDD bay, one internal SD slot and one CF internal slot. For communication, the APC-3X20 panel PCs feature WiFi/BT/GPS and 3G. The devices can optimise marine-grade requirements for both military and commercial marines.

The APC-3X20 series is sampling now.
