Designed specifically for intelligent POS applications, the Rity series has been introduced by Avalue Technology. Equipped with the latest Intel Atom Bay Trial Qual Core E3845 1.91GHz or Ceder Trail D2550 Dual Core 1.86GHz processors, the series is offered in four variants: the 8" Rity80, the 10.1" Rity100, the 12.1" Rity120 and the 15" Rity150.

Since the series is designed for the retail market and POS systems, Avalue has given the Rity panel PCs an elegant appearance, as well as service windows for quickly system maintenance and desk stand and wall mount (VESA 75x75) options for easy installation. Suitable for heavy-duty applications, the highly reliable computers feature fanless operation (for system durability and noise-reduction), anti-scratch technology (to extend touch panel longevity) and IP-65 (front) and IP-41 (back) dust and water proof ratings to ensure protection from damages caused by liquid penetration or splash. All four series models feature LED backlighting, 5-wire resistive/PCT touchscreens and RES RS232/PCT USB touch interfaces.

Equipped with the Intel Atom E3845 processor, the Rity80 features an 8" WSVGA TFT display which offers a resolution of 1024x600, 262,000 colour via 6-bit RGB signal, a luminance of 500cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 700:1. Also equipped with the Intel Atom E3845 processor, the Rity100 features a 10.1" WXGA TFT display providing a resolution of 1366x768, 262,000 colour via 6-bit RGB signal, a luminance of 200cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1300:1.

The Rity120 utilises the Ceder Trail D2550 processor and has a 12.1" XGA TFT display which provides a resolution of 1024x768,16.2m colours, a luminance of 600cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 700:1. Also using the Ceder Trail D2550 processor, the Rity150 features a 15" XGA TFT display which delivers a resolution of 1024x768,16.2m colours, a luminance of 400cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 700:1.

Avalue's Rity series supports various I/O and expansion interfaces, including: mPCIe with SIM holder for 3G application; two powered COMs for power-required device connection; three USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 for system expansion, easy system upgrade and data upload; one RJ-11 with 12V/24V, 1A output for cash drawer support; two LANs; an HDMI port and optional WiFi.
