APLEX Technology has announced its latest Panel PCs with contemporary design but rugged functions, 5 sides IP65 rated for a variety of industrial applications such as food/chemical industry, restaurant/kitchen, information center and storage controlling. This Panel PCs has a noticeable difference in terms of mechanical constructions.

APLEX APC-3X84B series features stainless steel enclosure, and APC-3X85B series is steel chassis in black design. Both have a variety of panel sizes from 15” 17” to 19”. The new Panel PCs utilises a unique design that minimizes device size (only 5cm in-depth) to satisfy space limit applications.  With a wide operating temperature range of -20 ~ 60∘C (15” panel with optional industrial SSD/CF), it can meet a variety of harsh industrial applications. 

In addition, powered by Intel Baytrail N2930 platform (Baytrail E3845 for option), APC-3X84B/APC-3X85B are capable of saving more power and deliver significant performance. This Panel PC features 5-sides IP65 rated and 5-wire resistance touch (GFG touch for option) to withstand rigorous environments.  

APLEX is aiming to provide easy-to-install and easy-to-maintain industrial devices, which are more sophisticated and valuable than commercial devices. Thus, the APC-3X84B/3X85B series demonstrates benefits of easily accessible storage design, a cable clip for cable arrangement, and an I/O cover, which makes this product solid and protective. Moreover, this Panel PC provides various applications with stainless steel enclosure (APC-3X84B series) for strict hygiene applications such as food & beverage/chemical industry and the APC-3X85B series offers steel chassis targeting at the balance of features and material cost.

The APC-3X84B/3X85B series supports a variety of operating systems: Microsoft Windows 7 Pro for Embedded, Windows Embedded standard 7, Windows Embedded 8.1 Pro and Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro.
