Panel PCs, which can be embedded in other equipment to provide an advanced HMI, have been introduced by BVM Group. The AFOLUX Gen III PanelPC family offers high-end computing capability and speed in compact, IP65 sealed rugged units. Featuring a 7“ HD 1024x600 projective capacitance screen supporting multi-touch functionality and landscape and portrait screen modes, the AFL3-W07A-BT is the first in the family to be released.

Measuring 190x127x39mm, the device provides maximum screen visibility through a slim 2mm front bezel. The PC, which has a low power consumption that ensures fanless operation without overheating, is based on the dual core Intel Celeron N2807 2.16GHz processor, with up to 4GB of RAM.

Supporting 3D graphics formats and video encode/decode hardware acceleration for H.264, MPEG2, MVC, VC-1, VMV9 and VP8 formats, the AFL3-W07A-BT is offered with the latest 7th gen Intel GPU with burst technology. For HD audio, the panel PC panel is provided with the Realtec ALC892 Codec, which simultaneously supports 7.1 channel sound playback plus two channels of independent stereo sound output (multiple streaming).

The device is offered with 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports and a RS-232 port. An internal mSATA slot provides mass storage. The PC, which requires a 9-30VDC power supply, is suitable for factory interface, home automation controller, digital signage and stock control applications. The AFL3-W07A-BT can be wall, panel, stand or VESA mounted.
