NEXCOM has rolled out a new open architecture fanless industrial computer NISE 3142 which supports Intel Core 2 Duo and Celeron socket type processor. With two DVI-D and CFast SATA interfaces, NISE 3142 is capable of rapid data transfer speeds and can present high-definition images on dual large independent displays. With a rugged, ultra-reliable fanless design, NISE 3142 is perfect for graphic intensive computing applications within EPOS, industrial automation, factory automation, automatic optical inspection, ATMs, public infotainment, in-vehicle signage, surveillance as well as data acquisition.
Scalable for Future Expansion

The fanless NISE 3142 supports a broad spectrum of processors from Intel® Core™ 2 Duo to Intel® Celeron® and therefore meets a wide range of budgetary and performance requirements. For increased versatility, NISE 3142 can be configured with various external PCI/PCIe expansion cards. NISE 3142 is scalable and fulfils different performance requirements whilst retaining the flexibility for future processor upgrades.

Ideal for Dual Independent Display Applications

With the integrated Graphic Media Accelerator 4500MHD, NISE 3142 can deliver high quality HD images and videos. Images and videos of better resolution and intensity can be presented on two independent displays via two DIV-D interfaces. With integrated graphics engine, NISE 3142 also supports Microsoft multimedia APIs DirectX 10, MPEG-2 decoding, hardware acceleration for MPEG2, Blue-ray logo capable HD video playback and rich visual experience of 3D images.

Superior Interfaces for Industrial Applications

NISE 3142 fanless computer is durable and suitable for use in harsh environment such as dusty factories. The fanless design gives NISE 3142 an extended operating lifespan and drives down the maintenance cost accordingly.

NISE 3142 is also equipped with CFast socket and PCI/ PCIe expansion slots which make connection to additional storage devices possible. Various storage devices ranging from CFast storage card, HDD to SSD are also supported by this unit.

Other I/O enhancements include 16V~30V DC input, two DVI-D ports, six COM ports, six USB2.0 ports and two Intel® GbE LAN ports for PXE teaming function. The optional power ignition NISKIG120 module allows NISE 3142 to resolve the critical power issue of voltage fluctuation and therefore make NISE 3142 suitable for us as in-vehicle computer.

The NISE 3142 is the latest edition to Nexcom’s award winning range of Industrial computer systems which include Fanless Computer Systems, Panel PCs, Single Board Computers, Passive Backplanes and Embedded Boards.
