With various Digital Signage applications rapidly spreading around the world, every participant is looking for a way to maximize ROI and lower total ownership cost (TOC). One solution is NEXCOM's NDiS 125 which is a cost-effective digital signage player capable of playing Full HD video. Based on Intel® ATOM™ CPU and equipped with discrete Nvidia ION2 GPU, the NDiS 125 meets the requirements of integrators looking for a low-cost, ultra-reliable, digital signage platform capable of supporting Full HD video. Like all products in NEXCOM's range of Industrial Computing Solutions, NDiS 125 has been designed for 24/7 operation, giving users the reassurance of Industrial Grade reliability, at a commercially acceptable price. In addition, the ultra slim design of the NDiS 125 and VESA mounting kit makes maintenance-free, low noise operation.
NDiS 125 is a fully configured system, including CPU, memory, HDD, wireless module, and other I/Os. NDiS 125 is enclosed in an ultra slim (25.2mm) and compact chassis with very low power consumption, targeting for low cost digital signage applications. NDiS 125 is ideal as an advanced digital signage player for advertising, hospitality, brand promotion and digital menu board application. In addition to Full HD video, NDiS 125 can simultaneously support Flash and Scrolling Text, making it the ideal platform for hosting customers' digital signage software.

NVIDIA Optimus technology gives NDiS 125 the ability to enable and disable the discrete graphics chip nearly instantly and without user interaction. This means that applications that CAN utilize the power of the GPU (games, flash video, GPGPU computing programs for transcoding, etc) will be able to access that resource without forcing the user to reboot the system or close out their other programs as they would have had to do previously. Compared to ION, ION2 also has better performance in 3D Mark testing.
