Although the new AHM-6xx7 Series HMI’s from Datasound are designed for monitoring and process control applications, they are equally suited for integration into kiosks and other public access installations.
Touch screen controlled, these fanless, dedicated panel PCs are based on the low power Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor and provide support for embedded operating systems. Combining an embedded single board computer with a TFT LCD screen housed in a lightweight, compact chassis, the computers can be panel or VESA mounted. The entire range is NEMA4/IP65 rated providing a high level of resistance to both liquids and airborne contaminants.

The five models in the range offer screen sizes ranging from 5.7” to 17” and resolutions ranging from 640x480 to 1024x768 pixels. Featuring a 533Mhz front side Bus with support for up to 2Gbyte of DDR2 SODIMM RAM, the AHM-6xx7 range provides an extensive range of I/O options including up to four serial ports, two RJ45 GbE ports, analogue VGA video, PS/2 keyboard and mouse and audio connectors.

Built-in DC to DC converters ensure that the PC can operate from a wide ranging 11 to 28VDC power source.
