Axiomtek knows the importance of being low-power in high-performance computing for today’s network solutions. By using the new Intel Atom processor C2000 product family (formerly codenamed “Rangeley”), Axiomtek NA361 brings you higher performance, better stability and lower-power consumption than previous multi-chip Intel Atom processor-based solutions.

Customers using the NA361 also benefit from Intel QuickAssist Technology hardware acceleration engine. The network appliance platform supports for up to 64 GB of DDR3 1600MHz UDIMM None-ECC memory or ECC memory, and features one CompactFlash™ socket for storing event log. Six Gigabit Ethernet ports are integrated into this unit with two-pair LAN bypass function; one PCI Express Mini Card interface is available for wireless/3G/LTE network connection. With only 44 x 179 x 231 mm in size, this super light high-performance network platform can be easily to fit any space-limited environment. The NA361 is an excellent choice for VPN, content filtering, UTM, network security gateway, and firewall in SOHO and SMB segment.

“Axiomtek NA361 adopts the next-generation 22nm Intel Atom processor C2758 at 2.4GHz with Intel QuickAssist technology. This new system-on-a-chip (SoC) is a low-power networking chip featuring up to eight cores. Its advanced power savings allow for a low total cost of ownership. To enhance reliability, the NA361 supports data protection via latch-type LAN bypass function for fail-over option, and features BIOS redirection to console port. This new network appliance also supports optional functions as ECC memory for mission critical applications,” said Joyce Wu, Product Manager at Axiomtek.

The NA361 has powerful storage interfaces including one 2.5” SATA HDD and a CompactFlash card. In order to address the various network application needs, the system features one console port, two USB 2.0 ports, and one PCI Express Mini card slot. For easy maintenance, there are front-facing LED indicators on the panel for power and HDD activity monitoring. The unit also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 operating systems.
